MISS Y' ALL!!

I Miss everyone back up in the Heavens/Mountains.. I wish I had brains enough to Hop, Chalet to Chalet, to meet everyone, singular,lol...Individually...BUT NOOOOO Like usually, not THINKING!! I'm SOOOOOOO Glad we all had the feeling of "touch of heaven....I'm still speechless, lol... WHEN We got back home I felt NUMB.. It took until the middle of August to realize, ALOT of angel & birth dates are in Aug...WOW so many of you, going through the best days of our life, as well as the worst day of our life.....
I did go to the Families Sons funeral Andrew Nicols... Andrew was a friend of Ryan & Erica's..I felt I was guided to pay my respects, and support Andrews Mom..Andrew was suppose to be deployed back home from Iraq, before he died..They decided to keep him until September.. On my sons Birthday Aug 8th, Andrew was killed on that same very day, 2 weeks ago. He never made it to september. Things happen strangely, all there friends were down the beach, celebrating Ryans birthday, when they found out Andrew got bombed and killed in Iraq...Such a shocker to us all.
I remember when Andrew came over to visit at my house, we were talking, his position was the highest rank,  he was a Ranger in the Green Beret. He was proud of who he was, and what he was doing for our country.. I ASKED HIM, If he had FEAR of getting bombed over there in Iraq.  He Said "NO" he will be one of the last to be deployed back home, when they send the soldiers home to us..
Right before he got killed/bombed blood to death, they released some of his troops home, they kept Andrew until September. Now, That is what Andrew had said to me when he was on leave a year ago. he said he would be last to be sent home.. It is another mind blower....
I went to the services & I met his family, and told them about our little visit with their precious CHILD Andrew. I told his mom I'll be contacting her about our FMO on DS..l will send her one of our cards Karen made....

I know it was very difficult, but I am glad you did go to Andrew\'s service. I am in awe of all the heroic men and women that have or are now serving in our military. If you talk to his Mom, please give her our sincere condolences. Let us know if she joins the group. Hugs, Barbara

Whoops, sorry Andrew, can\'t be accused of having smarts. But I do want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for fighting for our country. Ask Tara Lynn for a big hug, she\'ll give it.
Kelly, it was so kind of you to go, and to give the card. Please let us know if Andrews mom joins. Peace in your everyday life, Gale Sue

Another hero joins our Angels. No matter who they are, what they\'ve done, or how they have suffered, anytime someone\'s child dies it is so heartbreaking. It was so good of you to go to this young man\'s service and speak with his family and tell his Mom about this site and your prior visit with her son. I\'m sure she will remember your words and your visit forever.

While I know it could not have been easy, I give you kudos for being there for a new mom who has joined our ranks. I miss you and wish we were still up in our little touch of heaven. Like you, I wish I had chalet hopped a bit more and gotten to personally know some more of us, but then I would not have known my chalet roomies as well as I did. LOVE YOU

It is so hard to go to services and I think even though it is difficult it is important we go. It is always a good time to let families know that we are there for them and mostly we understand. Hugs, Inga
