Miss you

Hi honey,
I feel such a need to put into words what I've been feeling since you're gone.  Last night I heard your song to me "I Swear" and the floodgate of tears opened up.  It brought back so many good memories; driving in the car and hearing that song and you'd grab my hand and kiss it. I miss finding the little notes around the house you'd leave for me, I miss sitting on the couch watching tv and just rubbing each other's legs (ok, you did most of the rubbing), I miss hearing you say "hi sexy" even though I looked a mess at times. I miss hearing you say "I love you every time we'd end a phone conversation or the times you'd call just to say you were thinking about me and wanted to tell me you loved me.  I know the last 3-1/2 months were so miserable for you and not the way you would have wanted to live.  You were always so full of live and ready to do anything.  I knew when you didn't want friends visiting you were were feeling alot worse than I even knew.  You never complained, you are my hero.  There are so many other things I miss - I love you so much and feel so blessed to have been able to share 36 years with you.  The kids are a blessing, Todd called your cell phone on Father's Day just to hear your voice.  Being single, he's havig the hardest time of all I think.  Can't wait till we meet again and as you said on your anniversary card to me:  "Can't wait till we can hold each other in our arms again"  With all those tubes you had in at the end, that was impossible and one of my biggest regrets, I missed those hugs

I could have written this myself. I cried along with you. these things are precious, and will never be forgotten by our hearts. My kids call my husbands cell phone too, as well as I do when I just need to hear him.
I miss those hugs too. but I think they are still giving us \"hugs\" from where they are now. Your song in the car was one of them.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful journal entry. Hugs Diane

I like to think that too. Life can really suck sometimes.
