Misery does not love company

I've had people in my life from time to time to make me miserable, but none that would share it with me. I'm always alone for the misery.
From my parents to grandchildren, my entire family has been a source of great misery to me, as was my recently deceaced husband. Add to that 2 children, and 2 former boyfriends, and my life is complete.
I've never had a friend make me miserable like that. If a person just gets that close but no closer then things are fine, but when I let anyone get really close to me, let the misery commence.
 
I have never been as unhappy in my life as I am right now.
