miracles.
RE: previous journal entry
The backpack was recovered with everything intact.
The business office called about my letter to the doctor about not getting information about a procedure and being charged a shocking fee. My bill is on hold until the quality assurance people have their monthly meeting to discuss my complaint. They want me to talk to some people in their office about what happened. I told them I talk to people all the time who feel like they are defeated by the system and that I felt like this issue is more than about the amount of money. It is about doctors and medical staff not informing patients about what is going on. Someone actually responded.
I may still have to pay the bill but if I can get a few doctors (there are 48 in this medical group that will hear my complaint) to take a minute to actually inform their patients about what is going on I will feel a little bit better.
And, finally, I went to exchange a shirt that I bought on sale last week because I wanted a different color and they didn't have my size, blah, blah, blah. Bottom line: when I went to the store the only shirt left was in my size and the color I wanted.
Three cheers for miracles!
I am feeling much better than I did on Monday and Tuesday. Sure wish I could figure this thing out. Now, if I could just have some sunshine instead of rain for the track meet today I would give another cheer for miracles!
