minor struggles

This was the first day in a long time in which I woke up and had no desire to run. It was a day in which my body aches and pains got the best of me, especially, my low back. So I took some ibprofen along with my other meds and just kept telling myself over and over, "Look! You don't have to go fast, and you don't have to go far, you just need to go!  One step at a time!  Don't think about the whole distance!"
It seemed to work because I browsed through the paper while drinking my coffee and I felt a need to go and get my workout done because I knew it would make me feel good for the rest of the day! I actually ended up going a little further ten yesterday and I feel great!
Thanks to everyone of my friends for your support! I love you all!
