Minor Blip

Stopped in to say goodbye to boss and all went well. Then stopped at pharmacy to pick up my pen tips (after being told insurance was all settled. ) Again was told they were not covered by either plan .$47 I did not take them. I spent time again on phone with both agencies, then insurance rep did as well and we even did a conference call. Still not resolved and I am to try to call UHC (my advantage plan again tomorrow)  Also I have to get a printout from Rite aid of meds filled and paid for so far to try to get reimbursed for overpayment.

I also am not feeling well. I did have a little chili but not too much because my insides seem to be grumbling/ churning . May be part nerves, part not eating right. I also have to put remaining chili in containers but not gonna touch any til feeling better.  Today I'm afraid my list did not get finished . Partly because I  spent so much time on phone and then because of queeziness.

But it's ok. Tomorrow is another day.

I get like that to when something upsets me so I just try to maintain a healthy diet, drink lots of water, and get plenty of sleep. I also keep lots of advil on hand for pain. I use the gel caps which seem to work better..... Good luck with the insurance. I hope you can get something out of them but from my experience, it's very hard to do. I have complained so much to Wellcare, that they are actually trying to make me happy now. They sent me a free blood pressure monitor in the mail. When I take my blood pressure, the machine will call my doctors office and tell them what it is. I thought that was pretty cool. Saves me from having to write them all down. My insurance pays for that.

Bob be careful with Advil and tummy because it can cause internal bleeds....and that is pretty cool the thing calls your doctor....you must still have a landline telephone.....I gave mine up recently because they wanted too much for it after they dropped the affordable care act advantage to internet.....it means now I just pay for the internet.....before they paid my internet and Phone was on me......

Veggie I am sorry your tummy is grumbling.....I have IBSD and I know that all too well it occurred to me this morning after I went out to breakfast.....I went to walmart near restaurant and things went bad there....so came home I wanted to stop into grocery but knew that would be a mistake....I was right....

sorry about the insurance issues.....I am pretty happy with mine....plus the extra care that it includes and I still get the meds from manufacturer of some very expensive meds free.....

I am going to be switching my medicare advantage plan at open enrollment because the company has changes in the benefit that I really use with is eye care glasses and dental care.....they completely ran me out the door with just those two changes.....I do have an broker for insurance needs....he is my AA sponsor.....so we will take a good look at things in Nov.....

Boy, do I love chili but I can't eat it anymore. Too spicy and sometimes too much fat, makes my intestines upset. Like Bill experiences.

I hope you can rest VQ. I also get an upset tummy when I get emotionally upset. The stomach and the brain are connected by what I think is called the vagus nerve. I just got home from my errands and I am tired. Spent the morning dealing with laundry and then encouraging a woman on FB who said she was suicidal. I always give them the crisis hotline number and a few therapists I know that do work with estranged parents. If you say the word I am suicidal, I take it seriously. Rather be seen as bossy than tip toe around someone's cries for help. But it is draining. And it is hot and I got home from errands and saw I needed to water the flower bed immediately or face dead plants. Too hot to do it now but I did it anyway. Sat down here to cool down.

Hasty you just reminded me to fill the water bags on trees in front yard....I fill them and they drain the rest of the day.....
