Mini ramble
Pet peeves about "sayings/phrases" ... basically I hate these and they are cringe worthy ... every. single. time... I hear them! Not in any particular order... ( except the FIRST ONE)
Number # 1... " I just want to feel good in my OWN SKIN..." Umm okay, then what are you doing right now; in the mean time? Do you usually run around like a crazy person ... "Hellllpppp... heeellllpp... I don't feel like I want to be in my skin... get it off... get it off...I don't like it and I'm not feeling comfortable...!!" ( of course I do know what they *mean* when they say it. ) I get this visual every time I hear it... once I realized it makes me laugh sometimes, it takes the cringe and irritation factor down a notch.

"But then; at the end of the day..." You don't have any problem solving skills or insight at any other time of day? Here is ONE example... "Well yeah, I have been worrying about problem (xyz) But... "But at the END of the DAY... I know that things will be *just fine*."
My DH has his favorite *hated* phrase. "Come on man ... bro... dude... don't worry... I got your back!" He looks at me -- rolls his eyes, grits his teeth, balls up his fists with tension. Next- ALWAYS- he says "GRRR I HAAATE that!" ( Don't worry honey, I gotch ya back!") Yup I did but that's a whole different story! Tee hee...

LOL We all have them - my latest is Epic Fail - usually spelled out in all caps EPIC FAIL. That\'s one of those catch phrases that will hang around long past the point (which was about the first two times) that it sounded catchy or cool.
Not sayings but other things that make me either laugh or cringe - on the front of the local topless club - \"Live Nude Girls!\" OK - as opposed to - ewww!
I\'m sure there are more but I just turned on my computer and I\'m still a bit sleep lagged after rushing to get dressed and get to work (which I am obviously not doing at the moment).

HA LOL Yeah exactly! Sometimes \"EPIC FAIL\" follows a video of someone falling flat on their face! Now isn\'t THAT FUNNY!!?? No its not. I guess its not my kind of humor... blah.
\" Live nude girls\" ( now THATS funny - thanks for the laugh LOL) what else would it be? There is a \"Gentleman(s) club\" (ha yeah right- whatever- lol) on the way to Seattle that states the same thing. It also has tacky neon \"art\" that puts the \"Leg Lamp\" to *SHAME*... LOL... thats what it reminds me of when I drive by -- imagine the typical titty bar flashing sign...AND ... two legs *ONLY* ( two curvy thighs on down to a pair of high heels- fishnet stockings * of course* ) The image is similar (to me) even though the lamp has ONE leg and a lampshade. LOL
Duuuuude ... talking to either male or female.
