Migraine & Stomach Ache
My son is home from school today with a migraine & stomach ache (which is probably connected to the migraine). He hasn’t been home from school since I don’t know when. And it’s been a couple years since he had a migraine (he used to get them all the time, like his dad). I’m guessing it might be due to the dramatic change in barometric pressure yesterday; it was absolutely oppressive humidity-wise, now it’s dry as a bone.
He & my husband had fun yesterday playing “Axis & Allies: Europe” (since it was D-Day). He was also up before me for church yesterday! I think I did a double-take when I went to his room to wake him up & found it empty!
On Friday, we had our last “small group” bible study before September. Actually, it was just a BBQ. The kids had a lot of fun playing UNO; my son won 3 games, he said & my daughter won a few too (she rocks at UNO). It was so nice that they had a good unstructured time with other kids.
Here is some news: I dropped the bomb that I won’t be teaching Sunday School next year. Free from that now!
