MIA, again

Yet again I've been isolating. Haven't been on here, haven't been able to bring myself to post. Feel I've nothing good to say, so why bother.

Journaling helps me a lot. I don't say much, but it is a release of my activities of the day and how I'm feeling. Maybe it will just help you to journal regularly. Either here or on paper. I do both. Sorry you are feeling bad.

Journaling is for venting and for saying the things like what you just said. It will get better in time. Life is a series of ups and downs and you are obviously feeling low right now. I think you just need a big hug from someone near to you. I know it won't cure all of your problems but it may make you feel better for a short time.

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

God Bless

HI, I'd like to say hello and maybe this will help and brighten your day. I always say happiness is a choice and not an option. We all are special and unique in our way so don't feel unless as with Graduating with a BA you have talent . I know the depression is keeping you from doing what you would like, going to Grad school, working and so on. Try and look at the overall picture of what to be happy and grateful with and maybe that will help. I like to do the same as then things and life doesn't seem that bad.
Keep the faith and hope all will work out.

I agree with everyone replies. I would like to add one suggestion. It might seem weird. lol When I get really down I just watch the world news. After about 4 mins of seeing people living in tents, hungry, and bombs dropping all around them, I feel like a queen!!

I used to do a Gratitude List every morning (or afternoon if you're a late sleeper) It takes practice but you just start naming the things you are grateful for. Such as not being homeless, having food to eat, ac in the summer, etc. If you think about how bad it could be, you realize how lucky you have it.

I understand not being able to work/school. That one took me a lot longer to come to peace with. Just realize that you were put here on this earth for a reason. The reason may not be know by you right now, but you have helped someone probably without even knowing it.

Take your time correcting bad habits. Life is a journey not a race.

Much love

I have been doing the same thing. I empathize with you. Today I am intentionally going through my friends list and offering good wishes and support. That has helped a lot. All the very, very best md.

I just want to say thanks for the replies. I'm still struggling. But hearing your thoughts and kind words is such a helpful thing. Making me feel not so incredibly alone tonight.
