MG moves to my right eye...........
After being diagnosed with MG in l952 as a little girl, I am frustrated today because for almost 60 years, the disease has remained in my left eye but on Sunday morning, April 15, 2012 it has suddenly moved into my right eye. Surprisingly, my left eye seems to be fairly strong.

Sorry to hear that your MG symptoms have increased. Hugs
6-30-2012. With my appt. scheduled for July 11 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, I am trying to make a wise and careful decision as to whether to keep that appt. or to cancel it and just go to Kansas Univ. Medical Center in October. I already had the KU Med. Center appt. scheduled prior to making the Mayo Clinic appt. I am leanig toward canceling the Mayo appt. because from reading all the posts on this site, I know there is no new treatment for MG and that after 60 years of dealing with the disease, Mestinon is stil the first line of defense. Mestinonis the drug I was given in l952 and which I have taken all thru the years. I am so very thankful to the Lord that mine has remained purely ocular all these years. I am blessed beyond all comprehension. My prayer is that it will continue to remain purely ocular but whatever comes my way, He is sufficient for the day.
