Metformin

I am so frustrated.I hate to take any kind of medicines and my Doctor put me on metformin in June,however I thought I could just change things in diet and avoid the medicine....Im a sissy and scared of side effects,so it took me 3 months to work up to taking this med and now I have been taking it almost 3 weeks and still my numbers are somewhat high especially in the am....I have a appt with the Dr tomorrow....We shall see what he says.maybe I just need to give it some more time....
