met a goal, now I can't stand it anymore
I set a goal this morning with my counselor not to scrape or pick for 8 hours and I met my goal. The closer I got to the goal and got home alone, the urge was too strong I could have gone on line before I did it but I didn't want to. To satisfy the temporary urge that makes me feel relief was greater, I guess, than the guilt and disappointment I feel about what I did. Even if I never stop my behaviors, I don't ever want to stop trying.
