Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I am feeling so happy and festive today! My family may be completely broke, but we have each other and are ready to celebrate. I hope everyone has a safe holiday! It has been too long since I have logged in, so here is some news to catch up on:
My husband has a job. He starts January 7th!!
My school money came through so we were able to get all the Christmas presents weeks ago!(Whew!)
I may not be losing weight yet, but I haven't gained any more while indulging in sweets!
I was one of the people terrified the world would end, while my logical mind knew it would not. So, yay! We are still here and ready to make changes for the better!
We are celebrating Christmas Eve at my sister's house and I will get to help her make all of the candies and cookies and finger foods!!! I am very excited about that as I have never been asked to help before!
Basically, my family is doing well, even though we do not have any money for gas or anything of the sort right now. I know there are people who could help us if we need it.
The important thing for all of us to remember this season is that it is not about the presents we get, but about being with the ones we love, putting all of our struggles and fighting aside, and rejoicing in the Lord and each other!
If you see someone who needs help, help them!
I will be getting on more after the Holidays for help getting back on track to lose my 120 lbs by next Christmas!!!
