Memorial Service
I did another memorial service today for a friend of mine, that I hadn't seen in over 40 years. He passed away Jan. 9th, was cremated and, they just had his services today. I have lost count how many services I have done since I moved back to my hometown 2 years ago last Nov. Seems as though every month or so, some family calls me to do a service for their loved one. I guess being in Gospel music for 14 years, preaching for 34 years, people from everywhere know of me. Every time I am asked by someone to do a fruneral or a memorial service, it touches me. God has blessed me more than I have ever dreamed. From a man who came from a past like mine, with the enemies I had and those I had hurt, God has turned something bad, into something that is short of a miracle. From being a man full of hurt, pain, retaliation, distrust, and change him into a man who loves people and cares for them sincerely from the heart, is indeed a miracle. I have been forgiven of much so, I love much. I did my best to speak God's words of peace and comfort to them. I judge no-one and I am glad I don't have that responsiblity. Eternal destiny of those who have passed, are in His hands. I am blessed to serve as a friend, a preacher, and a Pastor.

You are a blessing to your friends and congregation. I am sure you have the compassion that reaches out to the hurting and make them feel at peace. God has indeed blessed you. ....In Christ, dale...brandon\'s mom
