memorial service
We went to a memorial service at the hospital chapel today in remembrance of all babys taken before there time. It was such a nice service and a wonderful thing that they do for our precious angels. Im so glad we went. We also had a wonderful support group with us my sister and her family came,my mom,and my husbands mom and step dad were all there. It was also bittersweet I cried the whole time I was there. They played songs to remind us that he wont be in our arms and talked about him being with god. Dont get me wrong it was a nice service I just cried more there than I cry at home. I dont know if that was a step foward or a step back. Should I have gone and not cried? When will it get better? Will it ever? I miss you my precious Wyatt.I wish I could kiss you one more time.

I wish you could kiss Wyatt 1000 more times. I am so sorry you can\'t. I am glad you got to go to the remembrace service and that you had family who could be there to give support. Those services are great, but they do tend to bring up a lot of tears. Tears are okay though. I hope peace finds you today.
that sounds like a nice service. crying is cleansing even though we sometimes would rather not. i dont think there is any rule on whether you should cry or not, its simply how you feel and however you feel is ok :)
My husband didn\'t really want to go to our local memorial service but my SIL is planning on coming in next year for it. I think it may have been too soon for me. I think that it\'s okay to cry. It\'s healing. I don\'t know when it really gets \'better\' but I think there will always be bittersweet moments for us all. We will always miss our little ones. I do think that time has helped a little. I don\'t cry as much as I did in the beginning. Hugs. Denise
I\'m glad that you found the memorial service to be a good thing (even though you cried) and I\'m so glad your hospital has something like that for bereaved parents. I wish I could tell you that yes it will get better, but I\'m not sure that it ever will. I doubt it does. But I can tell you that the loss becomes a bit easier to bare over time, it will still make you sad but it won\'t weigh on you as much as it does now. I\'m thinking about you and Wyatt and wishing you peace, and moments where you can think of him and smile.
I wish we could all have one more kiss. Never regret crying, it is your body releasing stress. Time is suppose to heal all wounds, but it just takes me farther from my memory of her face. One thing that comforts me is knowing that she is happy and loved. And that she wants me to be happy. I don\'t know why our children are gone, but I know that they are loved and love us. Maybe one day we will be happy like they want. God bless you.
