Memorial Day 2019

Have to commit to daily journaling

had a bad flashback yesterday of my Edith being cremated.

I think it is criminal employers ignore elderly job applicants, still trying to find part time job

I may have met a neighbor who could be a friend, at least sit on the porch and talk sometimes, she talks about her husband dying and her mother too.  A lot of issues from her childhood, nevertheless she is a beautiful person.

It is good you met someone who can become a friend and understands your grief. Friends are important right now.

Good morning
It's okay to have those flashbacks. In a way it helps you deal with the void in life. I remember that one day life was as normal as it could be and the next day I'm thinking "what am I supposed to do now?"
Keep talking it out.
The job situation is going to be a taller order. Yes employers appear one way and do another. In my business we looked for people who could pass criminal and background checks. A clean driving record. Also I needed employees that were reliable in showing up for work and doing their job. Job searching in the 21st century is very different than it was when you and I were younger. You need an opportunity.
Friends are very important right now. I'm glad you have a neighbor to talk too. It isn't easy, but try not to dwell on one subject when your talking. It's hard to be yourself right now, but think about what you like and like to talk about. The first time I went to lunch with a lady after Lynn it was a not pretty. I rambled on as if I was trying to hard. I was very lost at the time.
How are you doing otherwise?
Keep in touch.
