Memorial Day
Well I've been crying all week. The Holidays are the worst. Memorial day came and went. No kids, no g/kids no cookout. Lonely, so lonely. The holidays are so hard. Coming up on 8 months without you. Worst 8 months of my life. Will I ever be happy again on this earth? Kids seems to busy with their lives to worry about me. Maybe they just think I'm okay because I try to put on a front. I can't blame them when I don't ask them to come over or tell them how lonely and miserable I am. Oh well guess I'm on my own for now. Maybe one day before I die I will find a way to have a little happiness again.

After our loss, people kind of drift away. I try to reach out to them and mostly they respond. I wish your kids would help you more. I didn\'t do much for my Mom after my Dad passed away. I feel bad now that I know how much this would helped Mom. I need comfort you now instead of rambling. We (DS) will be here for you. Chris
Thank you Chris. It\'s puzzling to me that the kids don\'t do more. My Mom got cancer after my Dad died from cancer. My Mom and I both sold our home and bought one large enough for all of us. I had a husband and 4 kids and my Mom wanted her own space. We got a house that had a apartment in the badement. My kid were old enough to remember that. They were 10, 8, 7 and 2. My poor Mom only lived 1 year. I had 2 sisters but they weren\'t much help. Oh well I\'m glad I did it. I feel good that I was there for her. She died in peace in her own bed. That\'s what she wanted. I was glad she got her way. See I\'m rambling again. Sorry. Thanks for the comment. It is appreciated. Linda
Can\'t even imagine . . . Hugs.
Thank you for the hug deegran. It is hard. I want to get a apartment and sell the house. My worry is the COPD and the steps I may have to face to get to the apartment. I can do steps now but who knows what the future holds. So undecided. Sigh. Linda
