What gets me on this, is the answer IS correct, musically speaking. but it would be graded as wrong.
Then the next argument is, its out of context for what is being studied, or the point of school is to focus. True, but then the question is too broad, the question should be posed differently, like in the world of nature or science.... never mind.
i'm extremely tired today. brought in animals to be fixed and two are too ill. hmmm. don't seem ill to me. the new vet says its uri. i say its allergies. two of rn's have this as well. and the one that had herpes has another flare up. not good. scares me to death. also noticed rn looks yellow lately. isn't that liver failure. she isn't a drinker though. or could that be kidneys? would explain a lot. she is looking for a job again, and i keep thinking, WHY did she retire early, if she keeps looking for work. soooo many people do this. she says she doesn't want a real kind of job, she wants something mindless.
is that what happens? i really don't know for sure yet. a lot of people just go to phase II like hln, did and return to college for something totally different or something more. she says she would love to do that, and then she finds a zillion reasons not to go to college, even though its free if you are under a certain income and student loans are guaranteed, would solve many things for her economically as well.
rn is nursing morris. so we are still waiting to see what it is. m said two of the kittens had fleas as well, so that means even with flea combing and pronyl its not working on some of the animals. i noticed that as well. half of them have NO FLEAS at all and the other half they continue. one of the new ones was like a tar baby. i never knew what that was. its like you flea comb and comb and comb and fleas are clustered together, with the fur and it makes a tar-like substance and its all fleas, even if they are dead from washing the animal in dawn or from capstar, they still have to be combed off. i'm shocked any were on there because i combed them myself last night and again in the morning. how is that possible. do the fleas just keep attacking certain animals, but not others? so strange.
was able to do allll the nails on the kitten that is the most bothersome and only the front on the one i like that is a more polite animal. ironic. i would have expected it to be the other way around. i think the overly friendly one, just wants a lot of cuddling or was trying to say, hey, there is something wrong, please fix it, and what was wrong was fleas, though his fleas weren't half as bad as his sister who had longer fur. interesting as soon as the kittens are gone from the house their mother became just as friendly as her kittens were and goes to sleep right on top of you. very sweet. why would anyone dump her. she is one of the ones that had to be picked up by 5:00 or they were putting her and her babies down. omg!
i think the reason i started reading up on the holocaust in the last few years, is saving animals reminds me so much of the assorted resistance efforts to save victims of the holocaust during wwII and their children. so much of this is exactly the same. and i mean EXACTLY. what kind of country is this. vivisection is like what mengala did with the children etc. humans are reallllly sick, they just have a different set of victims in this century. all experimentation (most of what is totally meaningless and just plain SADISTIC). should be banned. this would also free up BILLIONS of dollars which could be used for free spay and neuter nationwide, instead.
rn doesn't want to do bottle feeds anymore. i told her not to worry about it. two years is the normal amount of time for bottle feeders. she still wants to do them, but not as many. she needs a break. i get that. me too actually. so i'm at the pound and a woman who does bottlefeeds shows up who lives near the woman with the farm who called in last month, over an hour west of here. what a weird coincidence. what they both really need is a list of the clinics west of here. though the woman with the farm claims she called a lot of places and all they did was tell her how great she was in what she was doing but didn't offer any help. typical. people do that a LOT with allll kinds of charity work and its generally the receptionists and volunteers you are talking to and the ones who are coordinate things may not EVER get the message. a place is only as good as the people working inside it. everything needs to be logged and written down, or messages get lost and end up being taken down wrong. that goes for allll offices, not just charity. verbal anything never works at all. if a person can't even get a phone number down properly, date, time and name - they really should be fired on the spot, or at least kept away from the phones and reception in general. you learn how to take a proper message and how to write a proper letter in THIRD grade in elementary school, so how can you NOT know that?
so spent the day back and forth at the clinic three times and dropping off supplies at the house and at rn's and then shopping at a local market that has avocados on sale for $1 which is amazingly low priced, and then showered and changed clothes and left for my office at night. its been a too long day, kind of tired.
