MEME: minimum wage should be $26 per hour. wow!//great chicken wrap//talked to L - sending a clip

The Pragmatic Progressive Page

now add a maximum wage law of FIVE TIMES the minimum wage for all jobs funded by our tax dollars. that would be allll politicians and allll government workers of any sort. that would include state university presidents who make MILLIONS per year as their "salary" (its the sickest thing i've ever heard) with our tax dollars. NO MORE. if $125 per hour isn't enough for them, they can resign and there will be a ZILLION people equally qualified willing to take the job. seriously. want to end the recession? raise the minimum wage and add a maximum wage. boy would that change the whole thing and we would again have a middle class in usa. don't know how this whole, oppress the public thing of the passed 35 years started anyway. its allll sick.

also TAKE THE CAP OFF OF SOCIAL SECURITY!!! at the present time if you make over $100,000 you don't pay into social security (which is almost all people living in large cities like nyc, LA and dc) but they DO receive from it. who the hell came up with this? WHY wasn't this stopped 65 years ago? seriously. some of the crap that is "law" or policy is soooo dumb its amazing it goes on at all.

beautiful sunny day today, breezey, low humidity, around 74 degrees. had a great chicken wrap at the shin dig up here. yum. they had deli trucks this time instead of barbequeing. wonder if it went well. and then free cotton candy, snow cones, popped corn and drinks like water, iced tea and lemonade and carnival games for kids etc. i usually only attend part of it anyway.

as usual the old guy decided to screw with it, which made it easier for me, so i can get there as late as i choose, he did this without asking by the way and as always he doesn't have the authority to do that. wonder if that is the true "him" or part of his senility. seriously. (though he has done rash stuff like that the entire time he has been here, like since the first week he worked here, what a jerk) -- and his "decision" made it worse for the other guy that was here. he also screwed up again with protocol except its going in as a real write up this time. its so tiring. every year its the same bunch of screw ups with him and always has been. he should have been let go within the first 90 days after he was hired. it is soooo useless having him here, i will never understand why he stays at all. if we let him go, he told the last area-supervisor he is going to sue, and cite discrimination because of his age and our last area supervisor was against it, we just lowered the number of days he works to as little as possible - and even that is a problem. its going on for too long though. he needs to be somewhere else, definitely not here.

went to the spa. picked up animal supplies. finished up the caroline books from american girl series. those are actually my favorite so far. its about the year 1812. i also liked the kit books a lot, they are about growing up during 1944 - never expected to like those, but they are good. very enlightening.

a's jacket is here - took less than a week by mail?! wonder if that is a good sign and he'll have good luck now? lol. went to the new chiro. he is into acupuncture and using tools. he used an activator and a vibrator on the back, neck and shoulders to activate the nerve areas that aren't working and thus causing pain. felt much better when i left and its not as violent as the other chiro. this one also uses internal spiritual karate stuff whatever that meant. that whole group of doctors over there are "far out" seriously. totally different than a few years ago. also saw the healer, who has a bsn and is a massage therapist. she is very helpful but i don't like her attitude toward animals. eventually that will be a problem. the world isn't here to serve humans. i hate people that think like that. all living things are equal. if anything humans are the living thing that is the biggest problem on the planet.

talked to L which i normally don't do, miss her though. she says she thinks she can get a clip on that blonde toddler boy we saved/tried to save back in 1987. she says he was turned into a mcdonalds in spain - no questions asked (and how can anyone be sure its THAT ONE?) that was the year they were using mcdonalds for drop offs, at least over there. i hope she is right. i always hoped he was okay and it ends up being a recurring nightmare because you really don't know. things like that happen so fast. d was around back then and he was always making a zillion mistakes with a lot of that kind of stuff, which was a big surprise actually. d had said they saved/received more than one from doing that ad, turn them in at any mcdonalds, no questions asked. surveillance wasn't big back then and the perps can always pay some teenager ten dollars to bring the child into the mcdonalds, put the child on the counter by the cashier and then leave. what every detective will say, is it saves the kid, but leaves the perpetrator out there to abduct another kid. by the 90's they were against doing individual saves, it went back to few for the many, to kill the perp and the rescue isn't important at all. treat it like the war that it is. all of that stuff is so emotionally draining it knocks me out.

I\'m glad that the chiro helped with your pain and it was a positive experience.
I\'m with you 100% when it comes to the love you have for animals and the fact that it is the humans who are messing up the earth. Silly people who think they are the superior race!
