so i went over to a friend's alumni from the delaware area on facebook, i may post it. one of her friends did an amateur video on line, of their 20th and 25th school reunions from over ten years ago, so super old, and then into the yearbook from back then and set to the music of kenny rogers "20 years ago". its not bad. she says it took 65 hours of her time and she will NEVER attempt this again and laughs. i have a new respect for the film industry. lol.
photography has improved SOOOO much from digital. to get the quality of digital back then you needed proper lighting and a medium format camera at the very least. everything is sooooo grainy and awful looking when its done on smaller cameras...the smaller the camera the worse each photo looks. oh well. sometimes change and technology is good. with digital photos its a good thing.
still car shopping. i told j i'm looking at honda elements next. he said the same thing a guy at work said, you look like more of a mercedes type. meaning what? i've never driven a rugged car. my version of rugged is a hatchback and i learned to drive that from being a pro-photographer - the company recommended them and they were perfect for that kind of location shooting work. elements are made for camping and surfing and have a lot of space. the reviews are excellent. i'm test driving it anyway. when we "camp" we are in an rv or cabin, or townhome...and most of the time its the townhome. lol. but it is wooded. by the beach is even better and sandier, but still not rugged, its usually condo.
the house passed home inspection except for one flaw they are working on now. amazing what a stroke of luck, so let's see what will happen. came up out of nowhere. good timing though. now there is ANOTHER person in need of a house as his present wife is "away" and his former "live in" who is on his deed (and in another state would be his common law wife of 20 years - we don't have common law in florida), moved back in without notice. omg! he says his company is doing so poorly that they won't allow employees to take out loans against their OWN 401 unless it is for medical emergency. its like WHAT, its your own money. sounds like the fort knox thing, usa not being able to produce gold that fort knox is STORING for germany, even though germany requested it back 3 years ago. i think we are going to cease being a country pretty soon. something is definitely up. where is the money? are all the billionaires hoarding it. hmmmm, well the french and the russians had to deal with that kind of thing in the 1700's and early 1900's and here we are again. the result is a blood bath when its that. gruesome.
it is bike week in northeast florida. it used to only be bike week in one town south of here. now its bike week from cocoa to jacksonville and then west to ocala. wtf? gn was by and he "rides" is what it is called. he goes to ocala with his brother etc., and they hit restaurants instead of bars. al was also by, didn't expect that. he is in the midst of building his daughter a house on two acres of land that is continguous with his own land. she is attending college local and doesn't want to go anywhere. wow. still with the same boyfriend from highschool two years ago. time flies. amazing. he looks 100% better from when his wife was dying of cancer. there are two of those that come by here that went through that. so sad. cancer seems to get everyone on some level. they put up a tree here around the holidays, for people to post about their people who had/have cancer. never realized how many are affected by that and whom until the passed few years.

I always loved my class reunions because it seemed like HS issues just faded away and we were all on the same playing field.....finally. :-)

We get those bikers here as well, and they are so rude to the road.
