Reannon began her career in photography after completing her Honours in the Arts program at RMIT. She has dabbled in event, product and fashion photography but her passion lies in architectural photography. With years of experience in the architectural and IT industries, along with his love for photography and great eye for detail, Vince joined Top Snap – allowing him to follow his passion and merge his skills. Deannalee Photography is a Melbourne based on-location natural light boutique studio specialising in custom fine art newborn and baby portraiture. I did a cake smash photoshoot for my daughter’s 1st birthday. All I had to do was show up, Niki took care of everything else. We got a few family photos before the cake smash and we went home with the smashed up birthday cake which tasted amazing (even after having baby fingers and toes in it!). What a fun way to celebrate one year of parenthood and a special 1st birthday.
I fondly remember the purchase of my first 4×5 inch view camera during this period, whereupon I set about learning the intricacies of photographing architecture and commercial interiors. This style of ‘glamour photography’ was hugely popular in the 1980’s. We listened to our clients tell us how there was a need to shift how the industry was perceived. We met in 1998 at a 1980’s style glamour photography studio in the Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre food court, where we both worked. We also understand that for your brand to be a success, it takes a lot more than just incredible imagery. Having been in the industry for over 20 years, we have built up relationships with many experts that we know and trust.
Studios such as Freeman's were still very 'Victorian' in the cliched studio portraits they turned out, and the sweatshop conditions under which the staff worked.
