Melbourne Extended Hours Pharmacies

The Principal’s address was followed by an impressive and highly astute Captains Address by our School Captains, Sivan Chen and Lula Tadesse. The nature of their speech focused on the importance of routine to support success. Due to the 2020’s fluctuations between on-site and Remote and Flexible Teaching and Learning, it was decided that the Principal’s Attendance Awards for 2020 would be withheld. The assembly also included the Middle School and Senior School Captains receiving their badges. Overall, the assembly was an impressive display of the high level of respectful conduct exhibited by our students.

Feedback from the students on these sessions has been excellent, and the proof is in the pudding with the way our Year 7s are competently navigating their way around the school, using technology, interacting with their peers and learning. It has been wonderful to see the care taken by our Year 8s and Year 9s in welcoming our new Year 7s to Ashwood High School. I have personally witnessed many older students helping Year 7s to decode those challenging locks, find their way to class, or even just making recommendations for the best treats at the canteen.
