Meeting my Hero ....

I doubt anyone will read this..... but....
The other night, after the Orlando, fl, Collide With The Sky Tour date, i waited outside  near the tour bus for a while, to see if i could meet any of the members of Pierce The Veil. I was out there for about an hour, talking to some of the other fans that were also waiting for them to come off of the bus...The security guards kept telling us that we had to leave, and that they were not coming off of the bus, but i didn't believe that for a second..They were total assholes to the fans that were waiting there.. and lying to them, which was obvious. But i still stayed and ignored the security guards that were saying they were not going to come out. About 10 minuets after they told us they werent coming out of the bus, the bus door opened, and Vic came out.
I was one of the first ones to go up to him, (which is surprising for me, because, i have really bad Social Anxiety). This other girl rudely went in front of me while i was trying to talk to him, but i just brushed it off.. and then i had my chance to meet him... I asked him for a hug, and he gave me the biggest, tightest, hug... it wasnt a half-ass hug. It was a genuine hug. And then i asked him if i could take my photo with him, and he said, " Yeah, sure." in a really polite way.. and i took the photo with him, but it didnt come out too well, so i asked him for another one, and he said, " Yeah, sure, lets do this." and smiled when he said it. And that one came out good. I asked him for another hug, and he gave me another tight hug. I then told him how the song Hold On Till May helps me, and he smiled and said, "That's good to hear, im glad".  I told him he was sweet, and he said, "thank you Darling" and gave me another hug...
I couldn't meet the other guys, because i had to go, my mom was there... as i walked back to the car, i broke down and cried... I couldn't believe how sweet he was to me, and he made me feel special. I have been struggling with depression and post-traumatic stress from being abused, and meeting him, helped me so much. Just getting a hug from him changed my mind about a lot of things... like suicide... Nobody understands how much meeting him means to me. Meeting him changed my life... and i am not just saying that. I truly mean it. He took time out of his night to take two photos with me, give me 3 hugs, and listen to me... I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I will never forget it.

That is great to hear! Post that picture where you can see it every single day and remember that feeling when you have a bad day. Music can uplift depression and now you personally got to meet the man behind the music. Take care and smile!

Yeah, I think you committing suicide would disappoint him really badly. If he thinks enough of you to hug you three times and take two pictures, you must be worth something for sure.

So happy for you. The only celebrity I\'ve met is Austin Scarlett from project runway.
