Meds Ordered

I just ordered and paid for my meds. This was the cheapest of the three cycles. I am very lucky to have had my doctor give me samples of Gonal-F for this cycle so that saved me big. Now that I think of it for the amount of meds I'm getting it is probably more money, less meds this time for a little less then the previous amounts, HUH!?!? The new medication is quite pricey like the Gonal-F. I will get one shot for $350 yikes, at least with Gonal-F you can get a couple days out of one vial. Oh well it will all worth it when I have a baby.  I have my suppression check on Monday morning and then my first injection that night. I think I will be going out to 'celebrate' this weekend. It is a huge weekend in the town we live with boat race weekend, UGH!! It brings thousands of people out, so like a lot of the locals we are headed out of town. We will be going and checking out our soon to be new town. Should be fun. Have a happy and relaxing weekend everyone! Megan

I had no idea about samples either but when I was talking with the patient coordinator regarding when to start the next cycle after the failed one last month, I said that we probably needed to wait a month to recover from all the money we paid last month. She said well I just got some samples of Gonal-F in that I would be willing to give you if that helps. Of course, I said heck YES get me the calendar and prescription order so we can get started ASAP!! Secretly I thought \'why haven\'t you offered these to me before?\' must be a perk of being a frequent flyer. :)
