Medications working?

Good news, I think.  I started on Lyrica a couple months ago and told myself I was going to get through the side effects and give the drug a chance to work.  It was difficult because the first few weeks, I was dizzy, nauseated and in general I was confused about what was up and what was down.  This, while still going to work. But I kept with it and those side effects became less evident.  I also increased the dosage and now take 100 MG's in the morning and another 100 at night.  Also last week, I started the hydroxychoroquine for my Sjogren's and Lupus.  I am still at 1/2 the dosage and will be increasing that this weekend.  The first time I took it, I almost passed out and was afraid to take my Ambien that night because I felt so "over medicated". But have been fine since then. I'm still having some side effects, but so far they are manageable because I do believe my pains are reduced due to the Lyrica.  I am going to stay with the medication, because prior to starting it, I had fibro fog without the Lyrica.  So for me, I got past the side effects by easing into the medication and not giving up on it. I'm not pain free, but I'm pretty much back to where I was prior to having the terrible flare up after my father and brother died earlier this year. I also got a prescription for Tramadol from my doctor and usually take one of these about half way through my work day, and it gets me through my day at work.  I sit all day at work, and for me this is the most painful thing. Well hopefully improvement will continue.... I'm trying to be positive that it will.
