medical dilema
I have been experiencing vertigo symptoms for about a year or so. It comes and it goes and I have been in and out of doctor he has sent me to a hearing and balance center for about a year with them giving me different treatments, and I am cured for a while and then it comes back. A couple of weeks ago they told me that they feel it is something else and that I should seek other treatment, they don't feel it is vertigo, so back to the Dr. I went and he did a complete lab work up, which came up "with normal limits" so he then sent me to a neurologist. since then I have had an MRI where they hooked up and IV and used dyes i guess - you that have had them will know - and some EEG/(something I cant remember, but it had to do with testing different sides of the brain and sound). anyway, some days it is really bad and I have to grab stuff to walk (probably start using that crazy cane I have in my closet!) or just not sit on couch, it is an almost all the time now and not an occasional thing. I have to take my poor dog out to go potty sometimes though! :) Anyway - I am apprehensive I guess would be then word, scared if I want to label it but that makes me crazy! I have to go back to the Dr. this week to get the results, please pray that it is an easy fix. Freaked me out when I think about it may be something from my head injury, hope it is not a clot! ok, does anyone else have these crazy things happening after your head injury? I mean it has been 19 (OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT!!!!) years. 20 (OMG) in July!
