mediation is over
Well it is done. Our mediation session lasted all day but it is over. As usual, we had to sign a confidentiality agreement so are unable to discuss the process or results. Of course I would have liked to go to court but it is not fair to Cevyn.
We were up at 4:30 yesterday morning, arrived in Ottawa at 1:30. We spent the rest of the afternoon with Cevyn and her friend. I am again in awe of Cevyn - what a phenomenal young lady.
The weather is crappy here. It was snowing and blowing this morning. Curiously enough, everyone was late for the meeting - except us!
So tomorrow and Wednesday are free!

How wonderful to get to see Cevyn and to connect with her as you did. Feeling your smiles and general sense of contentment and I would think you might need these next two days for some R and R! Glad you have some free days ahead and don\'t have to venture out in the weather.

A sigh of relief that this is now over. What a genuine act of love for Chevyn to do what\'s best for her in behalf of her mother.
Spending time with your granddaughter did your heart good. I\'m sure she is a phenomenal young lady, seems to be genetic.

Sending you hugs, I understand this horrible process! As one of our SOTH\'S always says \"It is what it is!\" and will be. Cevyn LOVE I\'m sure made you feel better, that\'s always a PLUS. Hugs and love sweetie! Don\'t turn it round and round in your brain, it\'s a vicious never ending cycle. Love to you and LISA TOO!
I hope all is well with you now. Your granddaughter will always be there for you. I do feel that she will have a very close relationship with you. I was very close to my grandmother after my mom passed. She helped be grow up during difficult times help with my wedding and was there for me when my children were born. Remember Grandmothers a special !

I am glad that is over for you...I know how stressful this can be and so hard to hear, read or hear others speak of your child\'s demise....In a crowed courtroom is where I found many of my answers to Daren\'s accident...it was so hard to hear, but I was as prepared as I could be. I now face a retrial in the fall, so I will go through it once more...but at least I know what I will be facing...at least for most of it, and I am already feeling the dread in the back of my mind.
I am so glad that this part is over for you...Your grand-daughter is a treasure that I know is priceless to you.
I am hoping that some weight has been eased in your soul...thinking of you.
I am in Florida and it is damn cold here for these arts...they shutdown all the main highways, interstate and bridges, airport and even the AFB because of all of the ice. I don\'t think that there is a sanding truck or de-icer in the state, so it really is an emergency situation here. Sun is out this morning and I think that it is over--should be 70 by the weekend...the poor citrus trees at my dad\'s do not know what to do! lol
