Meanness
Hi, my friends, I wrote what I thought was a balanced contemplation of adoption on my blog (www.achievingconceiving.blogspot.com) and someone wrote a nasty comment to it the other day. She said that I was really snobby since I cared about having a biological child, and that it's good that I "sit childless" because I'd be a terrible mother. The thing is, I don't think she read my post very carefully, because she seemed to have misunderstood what I said. So if she reacted so violently, I should not let it get to me. But really, which of us needs to be told that we'd be a bad mother and that it's better that we don't have children? I want to give Ashley a special thanks for sticking up to me in the comments section. It's nice to have friends who understand how you feel. And I thank GOD for Daily Strength and all of you. Support and giving each other the benefit of the doubt are so much better than attacks. I hope everybody out there had a good mother's day and didn't suffer too much. Kay
