Me Kitchen
This is my kitchen....I loved the idea of being able to change the look with just a few hours at my sewing machine.
I, however, did not take in to consideration how difficult it would be to keep the shelves clean. After 10 years I feel it needs a face life.
So Friday we went to look at new kitchen cabinets. Just to see what was in stock so we could make make a final decision, only to discover that the cabinets that we wanted were 20% off!!!!! Needless to say we bought them then and there. We ended up saving a giant $459.++ and that is COOL!!!!!! I only have a small Ranger pick up truck. It took us 5 trips from Home Depot to home to get them all. 24 different cabinets all told.
Dennis is teaching Cassie and I how to stain and Poly the fronts and doors. Since it's my project I want to do as much of the work as I can. Cassie wants to help so she can tell her boyfriend that she helped remodel "Gramma's kitchen".
OK. so we started in off came the old cpboards and out came part of the sink counter. Oh, My what have I done.... What a mess. But when it gets to me I just go out to the garage and look at the new cabinets and remind myself it will be better and prettier and bigger and nicer etc.................
Oh, as a side bar Weght Watchers is till working have less than 4 lb to make my 10% goal!!!!!
