may need a mount for the mailbox//raining
this whole mailbox thing is becoming way more of a drama then i expected. wth? so i look at the holes on the back and it looks like it should have a mounting. when i bought it i looked for a mount and there wasn't one there. grrrr. since when is a mail box a big deal. wasn't it before like you buy it, get a couple of nails or screws and you are done. why all the fuss and bull shit. so many things are like that nowadays. more stress. so back to the store again. i swear if i see a mail box trashed on the side of the road with a mount, i'm going to use that. lol. at least temporarily.
raining - so everything is achey. ate cherries, so lets see if it gets rid of any of it. that would be good. also making me sleepy. i went on the deck to read and it started raining. so i ran inside and went into the green room to read instead and the next thing i know, its two hours later. rainy days do that.
the guy at work's sister tested negative for cancer. i said this to n and he had a fit that the guy is telling anyone his crap when he doesn't even know for certain to begin with. "misery loves company" he could be sharing it because if he is upset, why shouldn't you be....or on a positive note he could be letting everyone know why he has been out of sorts for a couple of weeks. the other guy is still sick and its noticeable to others. he said he barely made it through the day because he was so ill.
they also claim our office park was robbed, so now its lock everything up time. rn is going through the same thing on her block from the teenager up the road. nothing else. we were supposed to go to one of the movie things, but never got there. so i have nothing interesting to say. reading my two books and one kids book right now and i took out captain courageous, by kipling to read but haven't started yet.

just the most recent example where something was actually done to keep people like her off the bench for good. There are many others when talking about Broward Judges.
Chief Judge Peter Weinstein does nothing at all but pontificate its an anomaly with the latest 3 Broward Judges who have found themselves charged with DUI, one of which was actually hearing cases while whacked out of her mind (Judge Pollack) and when driving home from rehab caused an automobile accident where two fellow drivers were rushed to the hospital, while another Broward Judge (Rosenthal) after repeated accidents thought she was alright to walk inot the courthouse and hear cases! Judge Imperato has been an accident waiting to happen for years and is only lucky she didnt kill herself or someone else while smashed out of her mind on an interstate highway. Where does it end? Apparently it doesnt end because these Broward Judges are just the most recent in a long line of Broward Judges who have been accused of everything from smoking pot in a park to molesting a child where Judge Bowman took the child away from the natural mother, adopted him, and then decided hed have him move in with him and his wife!
No, I dont see Broward County recovering from what has become a very long list of errant judges where poor judgment is the norm no matter what Chief Judge Weinstein has to say about it.

Its become entirely political with little or no consideration with regard to the quality of the judges being appointed to Broward. The interesting thing is that very little work is actually being done by many judges in Broward anyway and yet Weinstein is asking for more judges from Tallahassee. Its like once they get appointed, they think theyre retired already and their main squeeze is only soaking the taxpayers for as long as they can.

its a really long blog. the new york times did a thing on it stating broward county has the worst judicial system in north america. lol. omg! there is an entire page of corruption amongst the judges and then it goes on about corrupt lawyers and their corrupt system in general. its hilarious, but its really not funny. not a good place to live on any level.
they claim a book should be written about judge futch alone and that judges in that county threaten people with guns, even inside the courtroom. lmao. unreal.
they have one of a bass fish that i like. its $100. they have another with the little stenciled flowers on it. no biggy. also $100. the bass is the better deal depending on if there are posts.
what i really need is the old fashioned kind of metal box with metal post that i can simply remove from the ground if there is a hurricane and put in the garage. really, though for safety all mailboxes should be locked. amazes me that so many aren\'t.
