Today I went to two dr appt's. It is the first time I've been to the dr where I was told to stop a medication rather than being given another RX. Wow! I am happy. The endocrinologist doesn't think I need one of the hormones I've been taking. She didn't see anything in the lab work to warrant it. I was only taking a very small dose anyway. Then the pulmonologist told me I was taking too much of one of my inhalers. I went in for a 2nd opinion with the endocrinologist. She is concerned that I am on too much steriods. I am not only taking the hydrocortisone to create Cortisol but I also am taking an inhaler with steriods and a nasal spray with steriods. The last lab test showed I have about 21/2 times more steriods in me that I should. Not good. But for now we are leaving it and seeing what and how we should taper back on. I felt good today which surprised me after being out until 9 last night at my husband's softball games. I am tired and don't feel great, but do not feel like I need to just sleep. Lord, I pray for all the ladies mentioned by Barbara and for Barbara on their journey to healing and wholeness. I know You are in each of thier lives and the lives of their families and guiding them through all of this. Thank you for Your faithfulness and Love. Amen.
