May 11, 2010 Denver trip days 1-3

Hello Everyone!  Got to Denver CO.  It sure is nice here.  The weather is about 55 degrees but very windy.  The rockies are nice but pretty snowy up there.  My sister Kelly and my brother in law Dan live in Cherrycreek and have a cabin about 1 1/2 hours away in the mountains.  Thats where we wound up now.  ITs been pretty fun here, laughing and enjoying myself.  They taught me how to play dominos.  They have their own rules (my father is gonna be so upset to play with me since they taught me and he didn't..LOL!! and with their rules!).  I didn't win but I didn't lose.  One game I couldn't play my dominos at all and got a score of 130.  Oh well.  Yesterday, monday we went out to this town called Salinas, they had different shops and we went there for lunch.  The towns out here are kinda small and have quant shops to look around in.  
They also have 2 dogs, a neufie named hud and a st bernard named sherman.  Sherman is my favorite dog (at least for now, until I see my brothers dog scout!).  they are so cuddly and cute.  I have a great picture I have to download to my computer when I get home and I will post it.  Its the three of us.  I have a little bit of altitude sickness but I have been drinking a lot of water, the only thing I have had was a headache. 
We are going to head back down to Denver later today and the rest of the week.  One bonus, my sister is treating me to a cut, highlight and color tomorrow at 3:45pm.  The rest of the week, whatever floats .
