Marie Osmaond

Hi everyone,
I know some of you must have watched Marie Osmond's interview on Oprah about her beloved son Michael who passed from suicide last February. Ken said that I shouldn't watch the interview because it will make me sad & I said, "i'm already sad."
Yes it was sad, but I sense a sisterhood with her - one I feel here. She is devastated, but with her faith and Michael's wish that she be happy, is pushing forward like all of us here. My heart broke for her, yet I found the show to be uplifting  as she and her family keep Michael in the center of their home, their gatherings and their lives. My reason for watching the show was to see if I can learn anything and I did. I think as moms we all share feeling responsible no matter how our children passed from this life to the next. But as Marie said dwelling on those thoughts can ruin the rest of our lives. I also learned that all of us smile through the tears and go on for our other loved ones and to honor our children.
She is loving and courageous and has faith that she will see her son again. I wish her peace and healing as I do for all of us.
