March madness

Wow... what a month it has been... first finding out we are infertile, and then just this week, our boss telling us there's not work left for us here... (we're both high school teachers.)  We've been working at this school for 5 years now... really we've been the heart of the school.  There's no extra-curricular we haven't done.  From sports, to plays, to fundraising, to advocate groups.
So, because we're located in a smaller community, we have no choice but to relocate.  We have to get the house on the market, and hope it sells... and FAST!  We then have to find a job somewhere else...  what craziness this all will be.
So now... who knows!  The priority of getting pregnant has slightly shifted I guess... hopefully very temporarily because I am going to be 30 in August, and man do I ever feel that clock ticking...
So March madness indeed - We can only go up from here right?
(Please don't let my bad luck come in 3's... appointment on Tuesday for me, and Friday for DH)

I\'m sorry to hear about the education outlook where you are. I am also a high school teacher in Michigan... our economy has basically been crap for quite a while.... and it is SO tough right now for teachers here. There are layoffs left and right, and our state government continues to cut per-pupil funding. I don\'t know how they expect our smaller schools (like mine) to survive. For now, I\'m thankful to have a job. Good luck to you both on that front.

I\'m sorry that you have to relocate; I hope the transition goes smoothly and quickly.

arggg! I hope so too! We\'ve started looking into some places already. I just hope to find a place with a supportive principal!

I\'m a teacher, too. I\'m sorry to hear about your jobs! Keeping great teachers in place should be the top priority but sadly it isn\'t.
30 is young nowadays. Doesn\'t help, though, right? ;-) I wish you the best of luck selling your house and finding jobs! Keep us posted. Sorry for your added stress of all this on top of IF!!

Thanks Sharynmarie... this profession is pretty crapy sometimes! I guess all we can do is go one step at a time. I\'m trying not to think about the future too much... can only control today! (somewhat). What do you teach?

Hey, sorry to hear about all the madness, IF is stressful enough on its own. Although the good thing is you have found some great friends on here who will help along the way! :)
