MANIA--OH, NO, NOT AGAIN!!!!!
Dear Diary, I have been having a good day today as far as happenings go. Met with my daughter's counselor, Loree. She is awesome. She is a recovering addict. Was a hippie back in the day. So liberal and patient-oriented in her practice. Anywho, I was talking to her about my disease and into some of the personals of my life (such as past sexual abuse). Then I told her about my mania symptoms and worsening of my OCD. We proceeded to talk and I told her that my father was coming back down on Sept. 5th and that he had messed with me and that my daughter is 16 and I am worried about it. That is what is triggering me right now-and me not even aware of it at first. She asked did I have a counselor in place for when he is gonna be here and I said no. She proceeded to take her business card out of her purse and circle her cell number and told me if I needed any kinda of support or had any problems to call her and that we would work together to get me stable, etc. I thought that was so frickin' nice. You picture most docs as being for money before the patient, but not her. I feel blessed to have met her today. Signing Off With Love,Chelle aka ZanyBeeper

Hey that is so cool that the counsellor is actually looking out for you instead of just seeing dollar signs above your head. Its a relief to see there are some out there who actually care. I\'m glad I read this, cos I\'ve had so many doc\'s who were just tossers and didnt care at all. xo
Now Im checking on you ,Huggs
