Manassas battlefield trip
Hi all I went to the Manassas battlefield with a friend. It is quiet and peaceful now, but it's hard to believe that almost 160 years ago there was a fierce, bloody battle. There were 2 battles in Manassas, the Union lost both. Here are some pics. I paid my respects to some fellow NYers who lost their lives in the fields. The first pic is Stonewall Jackson

Hi Linda, amazing pictures, you took at the historic battlefield, Manassas battlefield :) i'm so glad, you and your friend got a chance to travel there, and to explore the area :) it's very special you paid your respects, and saw so many amazing sights there :) we love learning about history, it's fascinating, and to think of all of the history this field saw, 160 years, it's truly remarkable. Holly and i have seen some battlefields like this, featured on shows like ghost hunters, and it could be some hauntings there, and residual energy, of the past, it's fascinating. Thank you so much, for sharing these incredible pictures with us :) i have a couple coins ,that were minted during the civil warm, 160 years ago, it's incredible, how this field, and coins, are still here, and the history :)
