Mamo yesterday
Well I went down to LBJ yesterday for my Mamogram. Of course I don't know the results yet. The little technician said she doesn't read them, which I don't think that is true. I thing they are just not allowed to tell you. I looked myself at the exrays but couldn't see anything. My ultasound is set for the 9th of Dec. They said they had to do the mamo before they did the ultrasound. I guess it is protocol. I will call Monday to see if they have the results from my CA 125. So many worries. I thought about Julie. I am making pea soup today. Frank made a ham last week and put the bone in the freezer. So I decided today to make the soup. I started it early so that maybe it will be ready before I go up to see my Son and DIL and of course little Christian, so I could take them some. Finaly getting the fence fixed after Ike. The guy will do it tomorrow. It has been a real pain trying to keep the dogs in the yard. I have gotton a good head start on my Christmas shopping. I am planning to do some more from Avon. I'll be eating up all my profits. Ha ha. Have a wonderful day everyone Anita

Your soup sounds so yummy......It is so cold here and soup warms you up so nice........I love your new picture. And I\'m not even going to tell you to not worry. (I know it is too hard not to) I\'m waiting also for more blood results. It seems we will never get used to this. I will be praying for all clear on your test and sending loads of comfort to you.....

Thanks Beth. It is pretty chilly here too. Not as much as where you are, but for Houston it is. High in the 50\'s I think today. The soup will be nice.
Yummy, pea soup is so good!! Hubby and I love to go to Anderson\'s Split Pea Soup restaurant while on vactation......they also sell them in the supermarkets but it is better at the restaurant. Homemade split pea soup can\'t be beat!!! Ham and pea is such a great combination........I hope you have a very nice weekend.......and I feel for you with waiting for your results.......I know how nerve wracking that is.......I pray for good results for you!!!!!! My girls have said that they don\'t want any of us to buy each other Christmas presents this year. They think we all have enough clutter and that we should treat ourselves to a family day out at a health spa or something else fun that doesn\'t take up any room. Sounds like a good idea but I don\'t know if I can bring myself not to buy something for them.

I hope your mamogram is all good. I think if it was sus then you would have been informed. my aunti Betty is dying of breast cancer now and is now in a home. My grandmother had breast cancer too so I am at a higher risk of developing that horrible disease then a lot of women that have not got it in their familys. God bless you and I hope your CA125 is down low. Have you thought about asking Jesus for healing? God has healed me and you can be too. By his stripes you are healed and set free, but you must chose to walk this way. God bless you. Leanne
Inka, what we are doing in my family is mostly gift cards. Sara wants one at Maycy\'s. She will need clothes after the baby is born. My son wants one at The Woodlands Mall, that he can spend anywhere in the Mall. My daughter wants one at Bed Bath and Beyond and my SIL wants one at Target. The rest that I buy for are little ones that I will get from Avon. Pretty easy this year. I already bought Christian a table and chairs set and I plan to get him a little jacket for winter.
It\'s the little ones that I think we all enjoy buying presents for at Christmas the most.. and we don\'t have any little ones in my family anymore.. humph... xxx

I love split pea soup with ham, but Mac doesn\'t eat beef or pork...so, I make it meat-free. Just doesn\'t quite taste like I remember it from home, but still warming on cooler days.
I understand about the fence issue...our old dog, Bob, had a terrible habit of wandering over to the winery across the road and as he got older his hearing went.
We put a fence across so that he had his \"own\" back yard to roam. Teddy has always had a fence, and though he\'s very good with voice command...he will chase squirrels without a single \"thought about his safety! A little puffball of a pom would be difficult for a driver to spot, that\'s for sure.

I worry but they are so used to being confined to the yard, that they don\'t know what to do when they get out there. I am afraid though if Muffin saw a cat or a squirrel she would chase it. TJ, the little one, is not aggressive at all. The fence is up now, so it is all good.
