Mammogram
I received a letter the other day from LBJ hospital where I had my mammo. It said something to the effect that further testing would be necessary. I didn't know it they said that because I already had an ultrasound scheduled or if they actually saw something. So I emailed my Doctor and she had one of the nurses call me. She said that there was something suspicious in the area that the doctor felt something. So I go for the ultrsound on Tues. Somthing else now to worry about. Although I am thinking positive about it. It could be nothing. If it is something, it is so small that I am sure it can easily be taken care of. I would hate to go through chemo again, but of course if I have to I will. I will keep you all posted. Anita

Will be thinking of you and keeping positive thoughts for you also. A girl I used to work with at the animal hospital was a medical assistant and worked for an oncologist before coming to work for us. She could make me laugh like no tomorrow and when I was first diagnosed she said she was praying it was a booger on the ct machine. So I will pray for a booger......Gross but funny! Thanks Beth. A little levity goes a long way. I got an email today from one of my cousins in NJ. She has just had surgery for thyroid cancer. She is fine but will have to go thru iodine radiation. She made me laugh when she said, \"And I\'m thinking that this cancer thing should drum up some really nice Christmas gifts ;-) She has always had a great sense of humor.

What is a booger??? Last year I got so many great and expensive Christmas gifts.. so many I haven\'t even got to play with all of them yet... this year no one is buying any presents.. Humph.. but, we will be going to the local spa for pampering.. Don\'t know what you call them in the UK, but it is something that comes out of your nose. Ha ha.
We are not spending allot of money this year on gifts. Next year they want to draw names, which I don\'t really like, but of course will go along with if they want.
Bogies.. that is funny.. Yes, I tend to go along with what the children want as well. xxx
