This place is called Friends Pond, its a lovely pond with a bridge that you can walk across to an island in the center of the pond.

When my mother was in my care during the Alzheimer\'s part of her life, this was the place I would take her in the middle of the night during the summer months when she couldnt sleep.

I would pack a thermos of hot camomile tea with honey and we would sit on a bench and watch and listen to the geese and ducks, and breath the fresh air. It was always a calming place to be.

Mother went on to live with me for almost 9 years and died peacefully here at home with me in her own bed. I miss her.

So this wonderful Friends Pond and her wild life hold a very special place in my heart, and I wanted to share these pictures of her wild life.

Thanks so much for very kind comment, I do hope your well, its very nice to see and hear from you.

Love Always,
Holly

I love the one with them all keeping the water from icing over... it looked like a mosaic pattern with the submerged ice below them
