making progress in my grief
I just got home from the florist with my daughter. We went to order the flowers for her wedding. This was the same florist that 2 and a half years ago did Bruce and my wedding then a year later did Bruces wake. I am proud of myself that although the thought had crossed my mind, it did not over power me. My main thoughts there was the happiness and joy of seeing my daughter ordering fowers for her wedding. Now thats progress.

Good for you....
You must be getting so busy and excited.... Yes, isn\'t it something how our lives can change in an instant, but now ordering those flowers is for a \"happy\" occasion. I cannot wait to see photos....
So happy for you.
Now that was a big step!! Good for you!!!!
Lori, you have made amazing progress. I am so happy that you can do this and feel the joy of your daughter\'s wedding, and not just the loss of Bruce. I am trying hard to also focus on the good, and all the blessings that I have left in my life, and NOT to just dwell on what I have lost. I am learning to think of myself and James again without the overwhelming pain and grief of my loss. I am making progress at last and it feels good. I am proud of you and very happy for you.Keep on.Love Peggy
Indeed it is progress, what a wonderfully brave person you are.
