Making Progress but miss her each day!
I just wanted to update my journal as I think I am making progress each day. I still hurt alot but can function much better since maintaining "No Contact". I avoid anything that creates pain and that includes allowing myself to think too long about her or Matthew. God knows how much I miss them both but he has also given me the strength to get stronger. I focus on my kids and my business instead on her. I pray that someday if I run into her somewhere that I have th estrength to "not care".
I know in my heart that I was right and she was wrong and someday she will regret throwing me away. I deserve better and will be better off without her. I have constant reminders of her but more so Matthew. I still love him as if he was my own son. I don;t think that will ever go away.
Pray for me and i will everyone here... It helps me so much...

I hope you soon have peace and comfort with this.

You will be in my prayers. You can\'t \"unlove\" someone. Especially a child. I agree, she will regret her decision. She may already. Karma. Stay strong.
Always praying for you all. Glad your maintaining it is a big step toward healing. No Contact was what finally allowed me to let go and detach. I really didn\'t have a choice but before it happened I didn\'t know how to do it but Once I learned it was my open door to my new journey. Good luck to you. ((Hugs))
Well done.
I know that feeling. About 3-4 months ago I was there too. Nearly every time I saw my STBX and especially the OM it would just make me deeply upset - twisting my gut in knots. I can say that after a bit more time to process my feelings of hurt and anger I feel much better now. I think at some point I kind of realized that it was me that was making me feel hurt and angry about it. I don\'t know if I\'m totally through it yet, but I do know that once I saw these things (these emotions) as something I could choose to change in myself that it somehow helped me. The way you process it will be your own but I hope you can find that and make it work for you too.
I wish the same for you - that with a little more time to process things you will find the ways that work for you that will help you to start to feel better and eventually whole again. Wish you the best!
I\'m praying for you, too. And I hope things get easier as time goes on.
