making progress

I heard back from the director at our area adolescent drug treatment center.  He said that they're VERY interested in pursuing some of the concepts that the other treatment center are doing a few states away (where our relatives live).  He also asked me for some more contact information that I was happy to provide.  One contact he wanted was for the Principal at our high school!  No way!  Actually, I gave it to him, but I had to be honest (I was very kind and nice about it) and told him that he may be open to what you have to offer, if he knows it isn't coming from me - whatever it is he would ask him - the Principal may not answer.  I told him that the Principal has his own agenda but he did contribute to the organization that helps families with treatment, so he can't be all that bad.  I didn't tell him that it took numerous emails for me to finally get a reply and donation, but it isn't relevant.   I finished the letter I'm going to snail mail to "someone" and will be mailing it tomorrow.  I hope I hear from this person.  It is a pipe dream of what I asked this person but ~ that's how things begin sometimes ~ as pipe dreams.  So we'll see.  We will see.....
