Making Cookies

It is raining and the wind is blowing.  The leaves are all over the ground.  It is a day that my husband and I would be enjoying the comfort of our home together.  I decided to make some pumpkin cookies for my family instead of sitting and thinking; good idea but it has brought back so many memories that I can't stop crying.  I miss him so much.  I want to do the things that brought him and our family happiness during the holidays but it is so hard doing it alone.  I look out the kitchen window and see my husband walking around the yard enjoying his plants, the out of doors, LIFE! I want to tell him how much I love him one more time!

Lindanne, I feel so bad about your current situation. We have the same type weather here in Claremore, Ok. today. It is windy, cold and damp. A day that Janelle and I would have enjoyed cooking dinner together, and then watching a movie while we sat on the couch holding hands. She has been gone a little over 9 months. I still miss her terribly. I would like to be able to speak to her just once more I tell her how very much I love her. It is still hard for me to grasp the fact that they are completely out of our reach now. Just let the tears flow Lindanne, they will make you feel better temporarily. This is a difficult journey we are on. If I can be of any assistance, please don\'t hesitate to write me. God bless you.

tell him, tell him everyday!!!
i can so relate to looking out the window and seeing him tinkering around the yard. i miss the little simple things more then the big events, there is something so intimate in the small day to day things. miss it all, but eternally grateful for having had it.
hugs to you, and might i add that home baked cookies sound wonderful~!~~

Lindanne,
I know just how you are feeling. It is the smallest, day to day things that we think of. Those are the things that bring us to our knees.
Blessings,
Linda
