Magnetic Therapy for Weight Loss - does it really work?
I am trying to lose weight. I am at my early forty and my weight is not very normal. Frankly, I do not do much exercise. Althought I have a good dietry, so I think, the additional weight could be attributed to the lack of physical activities.
Since I am naturally a lazy person when it comes to sport, I choose the easier way to lose some pound. There are so many options out there, however I am quite restrictive as to what option I choose. For instance, I prefer to continue eating what I love, staying up late at night and sit on my couch. That is why, I googled for the answer :), and that is how I find out about magentic theraphy (source: https://cabracelet.com/blog/magnetic-therapy-101/). While it is not 100% sure that it could help with weight lost, the price of magnetic items are not very expensive, so I'll try it out!.

Alright, without further a do, here is what I have learnt so far when researching on magentic therapy for losing weight:
Magnetic therapy is yet another method for weight loss. Magnets have in recent years been promoted for myriad health applications and ailments, from foot pain to inflammations and headaches. Civilizations such as China, Greece and Egypt believed magnets could restore natural balance and harmony to body systems. Archaeologists have found records of using magnets in the healing that date back thousands of years. Now, they are now being promoted as weight loss tool.
How it works
Magnets acting on the body's own electromagnetic field restore balance. The increased blood flow and oxygen increase cellular respiration. While there is much debate about the actual cellular effects, magnetic therapy offers safe, non-invasive treatments. Magnetic field therapy is the use of magnets in an attempt to align the magnetic fields in the body. Since the effects have not been proven, there has been much discussion over this pseudoscientific practice. Many people utilize this form of alternative medicine as a way to relieve constant pain and help with certain conditions.
Magnets are believed to have the ability to change our cellular physiology. By the use of the magnets, it is believed by some that you can change your metabolic rate and lose weight. While the south pole of the magnet slow down the metabolism, the north pole stimulates it.

Final Thought
The claims that magnetic field therapy helps with weight loss are not supported by clinical studies. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has intervened in several cases of magnetic therapy for unsupported claims. The FDA regulations restrict the marketing of magnetic products as a way to improve health. There is simply no evidence that they work due to the lack of clinical trial research on magnetic weight-loss. Having said that, one may say that the losing weight is possible thanks to the placebo effect on those wearing these magnetic jewellery.
Talk to your doctor about magnetic jewellery for weight management and whether there are potential, real benefits to giving the method a shot. Don't, however, consider these magnetic accessories to be a magical weight loss cure. Instead, focus on establishing healthy dietary and exercise habits because taking in fewer calories and burning more calories through physical activity are the most effective ways to reach a healthy weight, as explaining by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
