Made the calls today......

Ok, so after writing one of my DS sisters, I called my clinic and spoke to the DE coordinator (honestly, I thought she'd handle everything, but I realize now that the patient has to handle the bulk of it..its only fair I suppose).  So the DE coordinator says I should call the donor egg agency since its not in-house.  All of the in-house eggs do not match us at all ethnically.  Kinda of an eerie story, but when we were gearing up for our first IVF attempt, I was on the alert list for this donor egg agency.  We received an email one day from a donor that matched me EXACTLY.  I thought it was weird, kinda panicked and hoped that this would not be our future, but at least it was good to know that we have a back up.  Well, we're using the backup now.  The more I think about her, but better I feel about the DE process.  Just culturally and ethnically our child will be as close as possible to our genes.
So I call the donor egg agency and I speak to a very nice woman who has worked with this donor.  Apparently she's very nice and accomodating, so that's comforting to know.  She's contacting her right now to see if she's available.  I'm excited.  Then I called ARC to see if they work with the donor egg agency.  They never heard of the agency but ARC has a Donor Egg program.  I'm getting the paperwork from ARC via email in a few minutes.  We'll print it out and go over it tonight.
As usual my period is on a milk carton and is continued to be "the missing".  I have to start taking Provera which may or may not give me a period.  I am going to hold out until I send a check to the donor egg agency.  I need to work out or something I'm all nervous and sweaty so I should put that use.
