Lyric's from a song.
These Lyric's describe how I feel about This PTSD thing I've been dealing with, And other issues:
And Yet, I fight, Yet, I fight, This battle all alone, No one to cry to, No place to call home.
Yet, I Find, Yet, I Find, Repeating, In my head, If I can't be my own, I feel better dead

Alice in Chains. Good song. Having C-PTSD, I can relate to the "fighting the battle alone" part. I'm sorry you feel alone in what you're going through.
I read your journal about having CP and fixing a guitar. How does having CP affect your playing? I know a little about CP from a good friend of mine whose granddaughter has it, but I also realize that everyone's experience is different.
Hope you don't mind me commenting. I came across your journal through a mutual friend's page. I'm a musician (keyboard), so your screen name caught my attention. Take care.
ladybug,
I Don't mind- My CP does slow me down a little, And depending on the song I can play along (Moderate tempo) I Can push myself to get up 70-BPM'S on good days,
Alice in Chains has good stuff.
Comment anytime.
take care
I'm sorry it impacts your playing, but it sounds like you're doing pretty well! Do you play electric, acoustic, or both?
Mostly electric. Since the bodies on acoustics are so thick, for me it's hard to maintain good posture when I play, So, I just assume use something like a Les Paul, Or just improvise on a fender for that acoustic sound/tone. And since a LP has that acoustic look to it I will use that sometimes.
