Lyrica Withdrawals

It has been a week since I quit Lyrica. I did not do it "right" but I went cold turkey because I'm tired of taking that medication. I'm tired of the swelling, the taking pills that don't work. Since quitting I have had my skin crawling, and the worst migraine I've had in years. I was throwing up multiple times. I've got a couple of days with pressure/headache trying to happen since then too.
Sleeping at night has been virtually impossible.
I do not like the rheumatologist. I went back last week and the only solution he had for me was to go off of Lyrica, increase my Cymbalta, and no pain meds. He thinks I should just exercise and lose weight. Well, if it was that easy, I would have done it!!!
I had lost weight in January and now I've gained it all back and more. Ugh.
I'm going to be 40 in a couple of weeks and I'm at the heaviest I've been in 15 years.  This freaking sucks.
I went to my primary care doc today and got my bloodwork done. We'll see how that all turns out. I also made an appointment for a pain center for the 28th. I hope they will set me up with some pain meds. This BS of not giving me anything for pain has gotten really effing old. Even tonight I have a serious pain in my foot that is angrily creeping up my leg.
I'm going to try ambien tonight to see if that helps me sleep. I hope it does.
I cannot believe how much Lyrica effected me after getting off of it. It was not working FOR me, but it certainly is working against me now. Every pain I have is exacerbated. My migraine was horrible. My footpain tonight is horrible. The exhaustion is awful.
Someday, I pray that creativity will come back to me. I pray that I will be able to have inspiration and creative thoughts. I have to get back to cooking and cleaning, too, because my house is a wreck and I need to have healthy food here for my family. I simply feel empty.
I look forward to getting myself back.
