lunch was a success!

Hello all! Lunch with Kristen and Jill went well! We went to this Japanese restaurant where they cook the food right in front of you on this grill and toss the food in the air with knives. I got a side dish of grilled vegetables and diet coke. They weren't too happy o see hat I wouldn't get a real meal but I didn't want to push myself or else I knew I'd wind up staring at my plate not eating anything. I was proud of myself for getting the grilled veggies. Jill didn't even know I'd been upset with her over the whole birthday party thing so she just acted normal. Any ways we laughed a lot at the restaurant because they came over with these wet washclothes at the beginning of the meal and we had no idea what to do with it. Kristen started washing her face with it! Turns out it was for your hands. Oops. After that we walked to Blockbuster. We rented a movie called One Missed Call, which was more funny even though it was supposed to be scary. There was this really creepy baby with a phone and it smiled this weird smile and just sat there smiling and holding out the phone, and we couldn't stop laughing. Then we paused the movie and checked our cell phones just for fun. WE all had one missed call, which is what happens in the movie before you die! But it was Jill's brother calling her, my father calling me, and my ex boyfriend calling Kristen. It was such a goofy afternoon. I'm really weird about eating latelty. I binged today. I'm underweight again and when I get underweight I binge like crazy once in a while. I had a bowl of cereal, some mini nilla wafers, and some raw cookie dough! I was like an animal! After that I had carrots and hummus and some bean dip. All that plus the mixed veggies in only one day equals one giant stomachache. LOVE YOU GUYS!!

YAY! I knew you would have a blast with the girls. You seem like such a fun person to hang out with. I love giggling and making fun of stupid movies. My friends and I would always watch Chuckie, and we thought it was the funniest thing in the world!! Isn\'t it so fun to laugh at ridiculous things like that?

That Japanese restaurant sounds familiar. Bennihana\'s maybe?

AHH! Stupid binges. I hate them. Had one today myself and felt horrible about if afterwards. It sounds like you\'re doing really well despite that, and I\'m really proud of you for not letting a binge ruin your day.

That is not even enough food for one day! IT may seem like a lot at once, but you need a lot more than that, really. It makes me nervous that you must not be eating enough at all if that seems like too much for a day. I hope you are doing ok hun, I worry.... But I am so glad you had fun with your friends. It sounds like you had some good laughs and lots of fun :) I am proud of you for hanging with them and hopefully you can rely on these girls to be good true friends. But if not, at least you can have fun with them.

Oh I so, so happy the lunch went well. Japanese resturants are so much fun.Don\'t worry that you only ateg rilled vegetables. You should be proud that you went to a restuarant and socialized. It sounds like you had alot of fun. I\'m so happy for you. You were a normal teenager and you did not let ed stop you from doing that.

When I lose weight it\'s like my appetite skyrockets. Being underweight you\'re body probably was telling you to get more food. For me, either I eat enough, or I restrict majorly then binge more than enough food. So either way I\'m getting the calories. I might as well eat normally. ha. I\'m glad you had fun :) I think it\'s great for you to be hanging out with your friends.

I am so proud of you for going and SO glad that you had a great time. I swear I think laughter is the most healing thing there is!!! As for the grilled veggies- i am glad you got them and totally understand the dilema of getting something \"safer\" thatyou can eat or trying something riskier but you may not eat it at all.. the thing thought that I think we have to all do is just focus on fighting througha nd doing the best we can at each moment, and maybe pushing ourselves a little bit more each day in the direction of HEALTH not in the other direction! We all know we are all good at depriving ourselves and punishing ourselve.s. we should see now how good we are at nourishing ourselves! easy to say and harder to do, i know. as for the \"binging\" my friend, I agree with some of the other wise ladies- it doesn\'t sound like that much but i also understand... to me, i feels like a binge when i feel completely out of control and like i can\'t ever get enough or ever stop. i really really really do believe that our bodies take over physiologically sometimes just to survive. Your poor body is malnourished and doesn\'t know when it will get foood next and so it goes into survival mode.. the only way for us to get past that is to give in, allow our body to have food, and work through it. again, hard as hell i know... i\'m there too.. but i think we must do it if we are going to be free of the ed... i believe in you my dear!

Glad lunch went well! Try not to worry too much about what your friends think. You know what you can handle and what you can\'t, and you should take things at your own pace. You went out and socialized..at a restaurant! I think that\'s pretty awesome. It sounds like you had a lot of fun, so I hope you keep hanging out with them! As for your binges, I think it\'s your body\'s way of telling you that it\'s not getting enough. I know bingeing is no fun, but hopefully you\'ll get to the point that your body will be getting enough and won\'t need to binge!
