lunch/dinner out with j//hope store//doing payroll//58 degrees outside

i actually have the HEAT on again.  how did that happen?  sleeping great, but so odd to need heat in April in florida!  though i keep reminding myself, i've seen it SNOW in April up north ... its 58 degrees right now and its 8:30 p.m.

went to dinner/lunch with j.  haven't done that for a while.  we went to a fish place that i used to love for their prime rib.  lol.  it was up the road from one of our mortgage offices twelve years ago - so back then, ate there monthly, and their "to-go" was fabulous because their salad bar was huge, hot and cold.  they would give you a to-go container for hot and a to-go container for cold to fill and then whatever your main course and sides were in containers as well.  so for ten or twelve dollars you really got your monies worth.  eating in over there sucked unless you sat outside, because its always too cold indoors.  went there with br a couple of times and it got annoying because the waiters are rude and ask you too many questions.  they think they are being "friendly", but they are really just NOSY.  its like, get a life and go away and if i felt like it, no tip for you.  why act like that?  don't you have manners?

nowadays, EVERYTHING at that restaurant costs $20 or more unless you get a fish basket and then its less and fish baskets are fried so really bad for you.  and most of the stuff they have just SITS in my stomach so my guess is, its gmo or sysco and sysco IS also gmo and processed and full of flavor enhancer chemicals that give you cancer anyway.  yuck.  they do still have THE BEST FRIED GREEN TOMATOES around here, i'll give them that.  but i totally wasn't into the rest of it.  i do a lot better, nowadays sticking with any kind of mom and pop place that has REAL FOOD and knows how to cook.   that restaurant still does really well, there is a line to get in, but i have to remember not to go back.  its a total waste for me.

didn't have time to go to the museam, but did have time to go to the hope store and lucked out with dog food for rn.  pedigree and beneful - hope they aren't contaminated, seems like every time you turn around there is a recall - and oceanspray juices.
the church is putting up the stuff for the festival and the dogs in the area are howling and barking to go with the general noise from the trucks.  lol.  not really funny though, as it can cause a chain reaction.  gave m and t the site for maak.com to buy product and dose it down.  i hope she understood what i said.  called rn and k to let them know that the new flea med also fights mange mite, its a generic form of frontline plus.  hope it works.  m says she has 3 (two are rescue) and she is allergic to all of them and getting asthma from it.  she needs air purifiers (i hope she knows to buy them at the auction or a garage sale and not from the store?).  she is candian, so she doesn't have american medical care.  she can get free health care from any hospital.  and she can also get allergy shots or through medical research like covance, where they pay YOU to get free medical care and try out their products.  i almost miss doing those things.  m is young and healthy, so she could easily do one of the sleep or overnight studies that pay like $3800 and get half a new car with it or something.  i just realized i should tell c the same thing - both c's.  they advertise in the newspaper, but for some reason it seems like only college students generally know about it.  m said she also lost her job and that is why she couldn't buy flea meds for any of the animals.  i said this to w and he says she lost her job last year, so how does that affect this year.

i gave her the maak.com site and the revivalanimal.com site and told her they will also send a catalog with discounted product FOR FREE, that she can sit around and read at her leisure without plugging into anything.  just read and enjoy.  jeffers.com also has a catalog for animal product with good prices.

talked to jamesH finally and he did sign a new lease until August.  i let him know about the animal-friendly house by rn's as i think it would be a good idea for him.  m says the grey cat is buddies with the other rescue so if he can take both, when he picks up his, it would be best for the animal.   if they are hoping for a june renter and he only wants places with swimming pools, it won't match anyway.  seems like a wise choice because he still has surgery in front of him and she and the woman around the block are retired nurses (on some level) who also babysit and rescue wildlife and all that.

was cleaning so my hands aren't working.  for some reason if i use a broom a lot i get arthritis in my hands from it or it affects the small muscles.  i've been using scented litter from big lots (IT IS IDENTICAL to tidy cat) but only costs $3.50 for 25 pounds).  love it when i find deals.   my neighbor saw a man on our property taking photos around noon -  INSIDE our carport with his phone - i should have jumped him.  SURPRISE.  lol.    we have fishing equipment and workbench in there.  hope they aren't planning on robbing us.  so much with WEIRD tresspassers at both properties lately.  including the woman with the beige suv was by again today.  c said i should have stopped her.  she was the one who lied and said she was there looking at c's house.  then you check with c and c says NO ONE came by looking at the house.  grrrrr. hate to waste space even writing that down.

g says its not the people behind w who complain about every little thing plus anything they "fantacize" its the same apartment where the woman from guatamala lived, on the second floor that is straight across from the second floor of my house.  super creepy.  whoever hired him to act like that, i hope he knows to ask for the $500 up front for spying and then another $500 afterward.  you don't spy on people for free unless you are a total fool.  or a psycho?
