lovely day
Got up early today to take Chris back to the city after coming home for Father's Day. It was the most beautiful morning. Sun shining, clear blue sky, & cool. I had a chai tea at the local coffee shop while he was getting ready for work at his place. Interesting to see the number of people who call in on their way to work for a takeaway coffee & breakfast on their way to work.
The chai is the best as they brew it while you wait. I still have'nt had coffee since the doc told me to try going without. Anyway, I then drove Chris to work which is very close & decided to go down to the Harbour before I drove home. I sat in the car by the Park Hyatt Hotel(where Chris used to work) overlooking the water. It never fails to take my breath away. The water was glistening in the sun,the Harbour Bridge on my left the Opera House in front of me & a cruise liner at the Overseas Terminal. There were ferries & rivercats coming & going taking people to work & I just kept thinking how lucky i am to live here. I have been here since 1970 & the Harbour still amazes me. It was early so there were only a few people around.
I drove home & then did some washing etc. I was feeling good today & it is hard not to do too much. I had a docter's appt at 1pm so was determined to keep going till then!
Saw the Doc for the results of my cardiac monitoring & I have to see a cardiologist. The palpatations have improved since I cut out coffee so hopefully there won't be too much wrong Another Specialist to add to my list.
I then came home & had a sleep with Poppy on my lap ( my mini foxie)
She is so cute & keeps me warm when I snooze.
Ed is working late today so I have the remote to myself. Yay.
So, a good day.
